- THINGS WE'LL NEED TO UNLOCK YOUR PHONE -

NET Framework 2.0
MFI Multiloader & needed components
Blackberry Desktop Manager
Blackberry Firmware for your phone

A Windows XP computer or a VMWare windows XP installation on top of whatever else (Windows Vista/Windows 7/etc). Dont know how to install or what VMWare is?? Click here...

Ok, now that we have the tools, let's go ahead and unlock your phone

First, we're gonna install the .Net Framework, then the desktop manager (disallow it to auto-update), the firmware (after you install this make sure to delete the vendor.xml file that it installs as well this will be located at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader) and then finally, let's install the main tool, MFI Multiloader. To do this, first unrar the BlackBerryMMLSetup.rar file and then install it, then unzip (7-Zip) the Multiloader Main Files.7z file into the root of your hard drive or virtual hard drive (C:/MML/). If you are asked whether you want to replace any files just select yes for all.

Second, turn off your BlackBerry and remove the SIM Card.

Third, make sure your internet/wireless connection is turned OFF, then start MFI Multiloader and plug in your BlackBerry via USB. The program should automatically start and begin doin' it's thing.

Additionally, you can use the full erase option for phones with sensitive information, to break passwords, etc etc. Just be warned it takes a much longer time.

Lastly, you will see the number 1 drawn on the screen on your BlackBerry. After you see this, remove the battery and re-insert it. Then, just press s-t-a-r-t on the phone's keypad, then reload your phone OS via the firmware you previously installed through BlackBerry Desktop Manager and you're on your way...
